Hi, it’s me Nicole (Nerdcole)!! I joined the Whatnot app a few months back as a buyer and have met many wonderful people on the app. One seller/buyer that I have grown very close with and would do anything for is Cody (popfilppincrazy)! We have bonded on all the tragic life events and life hardships we have faced. Cody has been through more than anyone is meant to go through.

Cody’s wife passed away unexpectedly March 2024. If you know Cody as well as I do you know the unconditional love he had for Heather. After losing his wife his home was destroyed by a flood in August 2024. When these events strike out of nowhere and not having the money to pay for a funeral and a new home your world crumbles. You enter fight or flight mode! Cody is a fighter!! Cody works at a restaurant as his full time job and sells collectible designer toys on Whatnot to survive and make ends meet. Cody has a heart of gold. He is kind, he’s hilarious (even with all of this going on I don’t know how he seems to put a smile on everyone’s face), he’s a hard worker, and a great friend.

As of yesterday he took another hit! Someone broke into his home and stole about $10,000 worth of designer toys, most Funko Pops. Some were from his personal collection that took years to collect and some were to sell. It broke my heart hearing this! This man still has yet to get a headstone for his wife’s grave. One thing after another and he doesn’t deserve any of this!
