Chipman Lamont Bus Train Accident Memorial

As the 60th year commemoration of the Chipman and Lamont Bus-Train accident passed quietly with the COVID events of 2020, a project is being considered to honour that milestone.  

A committee has been formed to look at erecting a memorial to honour the 17 young people who lost their lives in that tragedy and the survivors who have lived onto carry those memories.   Work is being undertaken to fundraise for this project.
