Chip in for Yip and catch brain cancer Justin' time.
In the first week of May our very own, Justin Yip was complaining of irritated eyes. By the following Monday, his vision became impaired and was experiencing double vision. On Tuesday he was sent in for testing and had a MRI Scan and then on Thursday, he was rushed into brain surgery to remove a tumour they had discovered.
As a result of the operations, his vision, speech and movement have all been affected and Justin has had and is still on that long road ahead of him to regain control of things we all take for granted
In true Justin spirit, he has set himself the target of completing the gruelling tough mudder course. This tough mudder course for those who don't know, is an 18-20 Kilometer mud covered obstacle course built to both mentally and physically challenge every competitor. A huge achievement for a guy who could barely walk only a few months earlier. Justin has set himself this as a rehabilitation goal. Let's get behind him and cheer him on!
Our goal?
- To raise 50k.
What for?
- The money we raise will be split equally to aid Justin in his ongoing costs after his surgery for rehabilitation and neurological testing and also to go toward the great work done by the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
