Hi, my name is Lee Loring and I am fundraising for my brother, Chip Loring.

My brother, Chip, was not feeling well recently. He was dizzy and very pale. I took him to the ER and we were told that he was bleeding internally and had lost quite a lot of his blood. So, the hospital did a bunch of testing and he was diagnosed with colon cancer and AFIB. Chip is only 47 years old!!

So, after consulting with his surgeon, he is going to have to have major surgery and possibly chemo after that. Chip will not be able to work for at least a couple months. The hardest part is that Chip is a contract worker, so if he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid. There is no vacation pay, no sick pay, etc.

The reason I created this fundraiser is to help my brother with his bills for a few months so that he can concentrate on kicking cancer's butt!! Our mom had colon cancer but she lost her battle. I want my brother, Chip, to have a completely different outcome. I know he can do it....I just want to make sure he doesn't have to worry about expenses during this incredibly difficult journey. Anyone that knows Chip knows that he has always helped people in need. Now, it is our turn to try to help him if possible.
