Chip in for Chippy

My father Tim "Chippy" Hudecki was diagnosed with scleroderma* 3 years ago which has left him disabled; unable to use his hands. It hasn't been easy for him and it's been hard on our family but we have all learned to live with it and help as much as we can. My mother still works full-time and has struggled to make sure the family is taken care of with my two brothers who still live at home helping as much as they can. Just 2 weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer of the jaw. Due to his preexisting condition he cannot endure any sort of radiation treatment such as chemotherapy and he will be going into surgery on Wednesday December 20th. Concerned about his family's well-being and not knowing what the outcome of the operation will be, he has asked me to start this Go Fund Me page. This is completely new to me and I've never done anything like this but I have agreed to try my best to help him. *Scleroderma: an autoimmune, rheumatic, and chronic disease that affects the body by hardening connective tissue. (“Connective tissue” is widespread. It adds strength to organs and other parts of the body.) Connective tissue is made of many kinds of proteins. Among them is collagen of the skin.
