Hi everyone.

I am Mike Johnson and I am launching this fundraising campaign on behalf of my wonderful Papa and Momma - Chip & Susie Hipkins.
For those of you that don't know, Chip and Susie legally adopted me
in 2008. The birth announcement reported the arrival of a healthy boy... 6' 3" tall and 210 pounds! More than enough about me.


My amazing, compassionate, generous, adventurous, and loving Dad passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Maui, Hawaii where he was vacationing with Susie. 

As the reality of Chip's passing set in, it quickly became apparent that a "gofundme" campaign was needed to help Susie. Not only did she immediately lose her only source of income (Chip's pension), but the bills associated with his prolonged stay in ICU at the hospital, and the other costs associated with his death will have a significant impact on Susie financially.

My hope is that we can all work together to support Susie as she copes with this unexpected and tragic loss.
