Ching Fang: Salute to our Fallen Marine Hero

Ching is the only son in our family. He is our beloved son, brother, friend, uncle, and Marine. He dedicated his entire life to the Marines, from being a part of his high school JROTC team to being in the U.S Marines until the day he left the world. Ching joined the U.S Marines eight years ago where he excelled. Everyone knew Ching for his fitness, his dedication for the Marines, and his beautiful smile.
Ching loved his family and friends, but there was nothing he loved more than his nieces and nephews. He was their super hero, their favorite uncle, and their role model. He made sure there were presents at every birthday and holiday along with his talented balloon animal creations. All his nieces and nephews adored him.
Ching’s elderly mother gave him the world and a life any son would have wanted. Although it was the toughest decision, she had to let him soar and follow his passion. Three years ago, Ching left home and went on a journey to find himself and was called for active duty and stationed in Quantico, Va. Our family supported his decision and awaited for his return. Today, our family came up empty handed and our beloved Ching will never return.
On June 15th, 2020 we lost our hero, Ching. His funeral service will be held on July 4th-5th at Legacy Funeral Home. Burial will be July 6th at Oakland Cemetery. Survived by his elderly mom, seven sisters, step-dad, and three step brothers.
We will always remember your smile and kind heart.
