Our Dog Chima Needs Your Help

Chima (named after a Lego series) was diagnosed in March with a cancerous mass cell tumor.  We rescued Chima as a puppy from Red Dog Farm 7 years ago and he instantly became part of the family. He is a lover, a hugger and our boys best friend. They have grown up with him.  He has helped comfort them, helped them grieve and calmed their anxiety- the happiness and security only a dog can give.  Chima is mild and mellow and when he's not chilling in the sun or asleep with the boys he loves to go on daily runs with daddy.

He has endured several vet procedures and specialist visits over the past 2 months. The overall consensus, for a fighting chance for Chima, is to have the tumor on his hip removed by a specialist. The closest surgeon is 30 miles away, and he would require ICU care overnight. We are hopeful he can be scheduled for his surgery by the end of May.

We are asking for donations to help with surgery and vet bills and are truly grateful for any donations. I am a small business owner and my wife is a teacher so we make an honest living but need help to make this surgery possible.  We want Chima to have many more years with his sweet boys.
