#ChilltownStrong is dedicated to showing support, love and gratitude to our local medical personnel, local restaurant businesses, Jersey City artists, and you. Together, we can do our part to #FlattenTheCurve.
Chilltown Collective, an events and nightlife company, aims to emphasize the importance of community during a time when it is really needed — through the power of music. So this Thursday, April 9th, we will be featuring DJ's by the hour, to help instill good vibes and good music.
Our purpose is to support our medical front lines and local restaurants open for delivery. All proceeds raised will be used to provide medical workers with food from local restaurants, immunity boosters and personal protective equipment. Food and PPE will be distributed to the medical personnel at the Jersey City Medical Center, Christ Hospital, City MD locations, to city officials of the Jersey City Police Department and the Jersey City Fire Department, and lab workers at both COVID-19 testing sites in Jersey City.

"My name is Jansen. I am a registered critical care nurse with 10 years of experience. I currently work at the #1 orthopedic hospital in the country Hospital for Special Surgery. After getting tested on March 27, 2020, I received my positive COVID-19 test results on Friday, April 3, 2020. I started to have my first symptoms 2 weeks ago (around March 23, 2020).
I am doing this video to help share my expertise and my experience recovering over the past 2 weeks from the coronavirus and I would like to help educate the general public as much as I can on the matter -- addressing any questions or concerns that you may have. The coronavirus is not a joke, it is not only infecting "older patients with weakened immune systems", but it is also infecting young healthy patients like myself.
I hope that any information I express can give you all some insight and enlightenment on this serious pandemic. Please continue to support one another and take care of yourselves."
