Chillin' for Addy - Hospital Stay
Donation protected
For those who haven’t heard yet…Addy recently spent 18 days at Children’s Hospital in Denver. The short story is that she was helicoptered in after having two seizures due to swelling in her brain (PRES) caused by unexplained (super) high blood pressure. Addy was discharged in early January without an official diagnosis, but they will be managing her BP with meds for now.
Bottom line: Addy and her family are grateful to finally be home but unfortunately racked up quite a few bills & medical expenses while staying in the hospital for those few weeks. Brent & Jen have to take time off work to learn to manage Addy’s new medical needs. They’re working hard to get her back to her normal life - school, play dates, and other activities she loves to do. It’s a 24/7 job but they are doing what it takes to get Addy back on her feet!
In order to try and raise some money to help, her uncle Brian, uncle Danny, and Cousin Ashleigh will be doing the polar plunge on March 5th in Lake Michigan at North Avenue Beach in Chicago.
We are incredibly grateful for any type of donation you can make to help to support Addy and her family during these times. Thank you so much for your donation and please feel free to share anywhere you can.
