Child's Safety: Help the Ibarra Family fight!

Greetings friends, family and strangers - my name is Jennifer, but I also go by mom on a daily basis. I'm approaching this with the humblest heart in creating this GoFundMe page in the hopes to raise lawyer fees for our family, which we are currently facing an expensive child custody battle that must be moved to the State of Arizona. We have been tackling this issue since August 2022. On August 28th, 2022, we received the Facetime call of nightmares. My stepdaughter, who then lived with her biological mother in Los Angeles called in tears and terror as she sat in the backseat of a high-speed vehicle, while her mother drove intoxicated (under the influence of alcohol). My husband, Anthony, quickly began recording the Facetime call as I dialed for police officers in California to find and stop the vehicle as it posed as danger to not only my stepdaughter but others on the road as well. Thankfully, Downey Police was able to reach my stepdaughter and assure us of her safety. My husband also contacted DCFS in the hopes that an investigation would be opened against my stepdaughter's biological mother; it did. We successfully followed all steps to ensure that my stepdaughter's safety was placed high above all else and with legal services, my stepdaughter was safely placed in our custody in Arizona, where she has been thriving in her academics, played sports such as soccer, attended therapy for trauma, gained stability she never had in the form of a safe home/ environment, and secured an everlasting support system of a loving and caring family that includes grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents, and Godmother . Unfortunately, my stepdaughter's biological mother continues to disrupt our peace and our family in her constant attempts of seeking legal actions that have left our savings at complete $0. We are now forced to seek out legal assistance so that we may continue to fight our final fight for our stepdaughter's overall wellbeing and to remove all people who threaten to bring harm. Our daughter is so loved and has been a trooper in all of this, so we ask for anyone to please donate (if you can), anything helps and share this page.
