Many of you will know that Oliver had a tough start in his early years. More recently, he’s had a bit of a health hiccup, which meant visits to hospital.
Apart from the wonderful care from the staff, the thing that made the biggest difference was being given a brand new LEGO set to build- something fun to focus on while he was there, and a lovely surprise to take home.
In an emergency, packing toys is the last thing on a worried parent’s mind. We’re lucky to live near the hospital, but many families have to travel much further. For children, being given a toy they love is like getting a little piece of home when they need it most.
We’d love to give something back, not only to thank the hospital staff, but to help other children going through difficult times have something special to enjoy too.
If you’re able to donate, even a couple of pounds would mean a lot and could make a real difference to a child.
Thank you so much!
