My family and I are establishing a Public Children’s Library and “MakerSpace” in The Gambia, West Africa. We will promote early literacy, creativity, hands-on experimentation, critical thinking, problem-solving, entrepreneurship and a wide range of skill sets to help develop young minds for future success!

Please donate to help with:

1. Shipping costs to transport donated children’s books from the USA to The Gambia

2. Property costs and fees for the first two years

3. Renovations, furniture, and supplies

We are hosting book drives in the DMV Area. Drop off or mail in new, gently used, fiction and non-fiction children's books (ages 0-13) to Masjid Muhammad: 1519 4th S NW, Washington, DC 20001

Books and funds must be received by May 7, 2022
