We have the most exciting news!!! Sierra and I have decided to go into business for ourselves!!!! Coming this Summer, 2017, we will be opening "Children's Creative Corner". This will be a Licensed Family Childcare Center located in our very own home!!!
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree, an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, an Oregon Registry Infant/Toddler Credential, Step 9.5 (out of 12) on the Oregon Registry for Professional Development, 17 years teaching experience, with 11 years specifically in Early Childhood Education.
Sierra completed 1 Semester of Early Childhood Education at McMinnville High School and has been a Child Development Classroom Aide since the Summer of 2015.
We Need Your Help!!!
Sierra and I will be putting Sweat Equity into our new endeavor by emptying out our 2 car garage, donating everything we can to those in need, carefully storing our personal treasures, and selling what we can at a massive garage sale! We will whip our yard into shape and create a fun and inviting outdoor space for the children to enjoy. The house will get a thorough down-sizing and "Child-Proofing".
John McClean has graciously offered his Contractor and Construction expertise to help convert our 2 car garage into an insulated, carpeted, well lighted, enjoyable Learning and Play Space!!!
Here's how YOU can help!!! Prayers are ALWAYS at the top of the List!!! Second, if you have any gently used children's toys, books, puzzles, etc. that need a new home, send them our way!!! And, of course, currency ALWAYS goes a LONG way!!!
To that end, we have created a GoFundMe Account. Sierra and I will finish out the current school year at the Childcare Center we are working at. Our last day there will be June 16th, 2017. John McClean (along with Sierra and myself) will be working on the garage conversion beginning the first week in June. We are planning to hold our Grand Opening on Monday, July 10th, 2017. EVERY LITTLE BIT WILL HELP!!!
