Children’s Christmas shopping gone

Hi my name is Katie hampson and on Friday 29th November I went on my annual family trip to the Manchester Christmas markets. On the way down we went Cheshire oaks for some shopping. We then arrived at Manchester and parked my car in what I thought was a safe multi storey carpark. I left my few bags of shopping in boot covered.

went to my car Saturday at about 2 o clock to my passenger window smashed into and all mine and my mother in laws shopping. The shopping was my children’s Christmas shopping.

I was so shook up and devasted to find my car like this, unfortanely it’s not even my car it’s a courtesy car so I felt even worse and more so for my mother in law.

Its so horrible to think this happens all the time and how can they do such a thing.

The police have closed the case even after finding out there was 12 other cars that night too in the same place which is absolutely disgusting.

The reason I’m reaching out and making this is I’m at such a big loss and insurance won’t even pay out it’s so close to Christmas and I can’t even finish my children’s Christmas shopping or get those items back. I know times are hard please donate if you can, just want to try raise the money back to try re buy the items for my children and to pay for my car to be fixed Thankyou xx
