Children’s Christmas Present Appeal
Donation protected
Good evening everyone!
I have signed up to do the Christie’s Manchester to Blackpool bike ride this year. It is a 62 mile bike ride and will take place in July.
I am going to be doing this for The Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal.
I am in a fortunate position where i can buy my son and family gifts at Christmas but not everybody is in the same position. Blackpool, like a lot of other places in the UK suffers with poverty and families struggle all year round especially at Christmas time. Deciding wheter to pay bills and put food on the table or get their child a gift so they dont wake up with nothing.
I have spoken with someone who works at the Salvation Army and they already have plenty of gifts for babies and toddlers so have asked me to concentrate on the older children 10+ preferably.
I am kindly asking for peoples generosity to help me give as much as possible so children who are less fortunate can still feel the magic of Christmas.
If you would like to donate a present please message me and i can collect it or give a delivery address to be sent if you are not local to me.
If you would like to send a cash donation i will be collecting all cash into a separate bank account and just before donating the gifts i will be taking all the cash to Smyths toy store and kindly asking them to spend every single penny on as many presents as they
Anything as small as a price of a coffee or a pint of beer will be so appreciated!
Sorry it was a long read ♂️
