Children's Choir Equipment Stolen

The International Peace Choir is a children's choir founded in 1987 and based in Long Beach, California. The Choir promotes peace, love, and community through its Peace Ambassadors, who proudly represent their diverse cultural backgrounds and perform throughout Southern California and beyond, seeking to build bridges of understanding and tolerance through music, song, and dance, as they celebrate the many cultural traditions of our world community. Now, the Choir is reaching out to the community for support.

On Monday, March 12, 2018, the Choir's truck was stolen. While the truck itself was found three days later with relatively minor damage, it had been cleaned out. Stage risers, sound equipment, musical instruments, costumes, country flags, props-- everything that the Choir needs to be able to spread its message of peace and love was gone. Compensation from insurance is not going be sufficient to cover the cost of replacing all of the stolen items; and, as a non-profit organization, the International Peace Choir has limited resources.

Thank you for taking the time to read about the Choir's situation. We hope that you can help. Truly, any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
