Children's Hospital Book Outreach

Last year, through the assistance of the Martial Arts History Museum and Keiro, we produced two senior Tai Chi dvds that were given freely to any of the senior centers who wanted them.

This year, I am in the process of finishing my first children's book, "The Adventures of Ichi and His Friends," and I would like to mail a whole bunch of these books, free of cost, to many of the children's hospitals for our young people to enjoy.

"Ichi and His Friends" is not a picture book, but a storybook about a group of four young kids, 8-12 years old, as they make their journey and learn from Mountain Temple.

It is a book about learning of other diverse cultures, teamwork and inspiration. I believe the more we learn about other traditions, the more we can get along.

I am trying to raise at least $1,000 for this project. However, please do not hesitate to provide more funds. The book is scheduled to be completed and released before this Christmas 2019, so your assistance is greatly appreciated. It would be a nice stocking stuffer for the children at the hospital to enjoy.

We are first going to focus on Southern California but the more funds we get, the more hospitals we can reach.

For every $25 donation, I will send you an autographed book when it's released.
