Children of Artsakh

Hi all, thanks for visiting my gofundme. I am raising funds to help children of the recent refugee crisis in Armenia.

On September 20th 2023, Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) was attacked and more than 100,000 people were forced to leave their ancestral homes following a 9 month siege where they were deprived of vital supplies including food, energy, and medical supplies. (Guardian article here)

Of these refugees, 30,000 are children. These poor children have been living in a near warzone since 2020 and have lived through more pain, fear, and suffering than most people should endure in their entire lives.

It pains me so much to see these children suffer. In 2018, I was lucky to spend a few days in Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh). I met local families who invited us into their homes, I visited a local kindergarten and spent time with the most adorable children (whose pictures you can see above). It breaks my heart to think what they have been through, especially losing their homes.

I am raising funds to help buy necessary provisions for these children, including school materials, medicines, toys, and provide resources for volunteers helping these children reintegrate into their new lives. Please support by donating no matter how small.
