Children Not Numbers - immediate aid for children in Gaza

Donation protected
We are a group of women who live in London and have been brought together by our shared deep concern over the welfare and fate of the forgotten children of Gaza amidst the ongoing horrific genocide continuing to unfold.

Many of us being mothers to young children ourselves, we can't process the unimaginable crimes and desperate conditions that thousands of families and children in particular have had to endure and continue to suffer. The long term implications on those lives are even more devastating and this will inevitably be one of the darkest moments in our recent history.

After conducting extensive research to vet many NGOs and charities, we have set up a Go-fund me page to support a trusted organisation that is capable of offering both immediate and longer term support.

Children Not Numbers is a newly established non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to supporting ill and injured children and their families affected by active conflicts and post-conflict circumstances.

To date and with limited resources they have managed to safely evacuate over 130 children and their families from Gaza.

As a medico-legal volunteer entity, the majority of their organisation is made up of volunteer doctors and lawyers. The only paid members are the colleagues on the ground in Gaza.

Their mission is to provide urgent support and long-term rehabilitation for children affected by war. Their main objectives are:
Children’s Immediate short-term medical evacuation
Optimising in-country medical treatment
Sustainable rehabilitation support
Advocacy for children’s rights
Educational program implementation
Orphan Support
Upskilling Junior Gazan Medics

We are pledging to raise £ 20,000 pounds through your generous contributions for the organisation which is in urgent need of support to provide the following:

▪ Ambulance convoys: a donation of £3000 will cover specialist ambulances with critical care support for up to ten families evacuating for medical treatment.

▪ Procurement of medicines: a donation of £500 per child will cover the costs of medicines and milk for a month.

▪ Administrative paperwork: a donation of £250 pounds allows them to acquire correct documentation from administrative offices in Palestine and abroad for two children and their adult companion enabling them to leave.

▪ Requisition of passports and travel documentation: a donation of £2000 will enable them to procure and arrange delivery of up to 30 passports for children and their companions, to allow them to evacuate for urgent medical treatment.

▪ Food Distributions: due to the shortage of food, a basket of food at present costs £50 and lasts 14 days. A donation of £125 will feed a family of 5 for one month.

▪ Doctor Salary and welfare: a donation of £800 a month will cover the salary of their medical doctors and enable them to provide any essentials such as appropriate footwear, charger banks to enable communication with the organisation, enable them to receive referrals of urgent paediatric cases, obtain female hygiene products as well as provision food security for their own families.

▪ Nursing staff salary and welfare: a donation of £600 per medic will cover their salary and enable them to provide any essentials such as appropriate clothing and footwear, charger banks, female hygiene products as well as food security for their own families.

▪ Medical volunteer salary and welfare: a donation of £500 will cover their salary and enable them to provide any essentials such as appropriate footwear, charger banks, female hygiene products as well as food security for their own families.

£500 towards the accommodation and daily living expenses of injured children and/or their companion and siblings evacuated to Egypt for medical treatment. This includes items such as clothes, toiletries, nappies, specialist food items (soy formula for babies) and medical supplies.

£100 towards a care package for one child and their companion to include items such as a soft toy, some confectionary, a colouring book and pens, replacement head dress/clothing for companion, e-sim and toiletries.

The donations you generously provide would enable Children Not Numbers to make a meaningful impact on the lives of ill and needy children and their families as well as the medics that are providing the critical support which facilitates their work. Your support will save lives and livelihoods.

Please note that your donations are tax deductible.
