Childcare Center Destroyed After Hurricane Ida

Good day family and friends,

My name is Erica McCombs, I am the owner of Buckle My Shoe Learning Academy located in the lower level of Second Baptist Church at 378 E Milton Ave. Rahway, NJ. I opened the doors on 3/2/2020 and remained open as an Emergency Child Care Center throughout the pandemic to serve the community. As former first responder I understand the dire need for accessible quality childcare. 

Like many others my center has been severely impacted. It is completely flooded and we have lost everything. There is still standing water. It is my hope to get the center back in operational standing by the start of school as promised to these families.

I am asking for the help of the community in any way, shape, or form. I would appreciate donations of any kind from money, books, school supplies, toiletries, etc. If you are physically able to help us remove the damaged items and get things ready for the start of the school year that too would be much appreciated.
