Child Declared Missing in a Court of Law by State
My name is Daniel Matlock and I am a 40 year old loving father of three daughters. I have worked as a public servant for 3 years and before that I was in the IT field for 20 years. Throughout my life I always played by the rules, and have always been a law abiding citizen and unfortunately due to recent events I have been criminalized without conviction, slandered and discriminated against without being charged with a crime.
The reason why I am not able to acquire funds by myself for legal help is because this situation has affected me being able to earn a living. I am starting this gofundme so that I am able to raise funds to hire legal aid in the state of Missouri, and in the state of Wisconsin. I will be pursuing legal injunctions against two state CPS agencies and ensure that they are held accountable for the situation they put me in under the color of law.
Since the beginning I have been cooperating to the fullest extent of the law in an attempt for transparency with CPS. My attorney advised me as well as several other lawyers I spoke with and have stated that I have been overwhelmingly cooperative beyond the letter of the law.
Once I reach my GoFundMe goal I will be hiring investigators to find my daughter whom both states; Wisconsin and Missouri cannot find. The State of Missouri has sent welfare checks, local police, sheriffs, and local investigators to find my daughter at the dozen of falsified addresses the mother is registered living to which there has been no avail. It was literally declared in a court of law that my daughter is missing, gone, no one can find her. Below is the timeline of events that have occurred since the beginning.
To the best of my knowledge this is the timeline of events.
On or about March 22nd, 2019 at 6pm happy, go lucky, loving, caring daughter, Ashille Matlock (11 years old/Daniel Matlock’s daughter) and her friend (11 Years old) spent the night at their friend’s house for a slumber party. This is the last time I said goodbye to my girl as I knew as she would come back the next day as a complete stranger. Few hours later, March 23rd 2019 12:30am CPS Jessie Smith knocked at my door with two officers behind her. At first I did not know who was at my doorstep but after I opened the screen door to see who was on the porch, and CPS Jessie Smith walked into the house as if invited, two police officers followed suit. CPS Jessie Smith said that earlier, my daughter made a statement against me being the alleged perpetrator of touching her inappropriately. After the medical forms were signed I was trying to find a safe place for my daughter to stay for this whole thing to be investigated but CPS deliberately denied Ashille to be put with friends and family to be in a safe place. They were trying to find a reason to put her in foster care.
On or about March 28th I went into the police station with my friend for my interview. After providing a statement of what happened I was told I was free to go.
Prior to me being the caretaker of my daughter, she was staying with her mother and mother’s ex-boyfriend who constantly abused my daughter. Her mother dropped my daughter off with me and said “Ashille is safer with you", with signed parental abandonment forms notarized in front of witnesses, then left to be with her new family. March 17th 2019. She committed Parental Abandonment with a signed confession and notarized intent of abandonment with multiple witnesses. A male CPS officer from the state of Missouri showed up a week later and said "Do not give Ashille back to her mother”. The male CPS told me that there is an open case against the mother and ex-boyfriend.
On or about May 18th, 2019 after 3 full weeks later I was finally able to get in touch with CPS Jessie Smith and was told that my daughter can’t come home and that this investigation could take a very long time because I am being “very uncooperative”, and not answering their questions. I tried to explain the situation about my daughter’s previous documented abuse, her mother, and her mother’s ex-boyfriend and previous counseling and the big sister program in which she was involved in. I tried to explain that under the care of her mother, my daughter ran away from home and when the police in that state found her and were bringing her home and my daughter stated to the police that she’s coming to live with me. After staying on the phone for a few more minutes CPS Jessie Smith becomes more hostile and tells me that “You need to come into the police and take a lie detector test”. After this conversation ended there were no further contacts, notices, mails, calls or anything.
Throughout this time there was no paperwork, no court orders, no termination of parental rights, no due rights, no judicial oversight, nothing. Myself and my daughter’s constitutional and civil rights have been violated. 90 Days were up and my Lawyer advised me on the 95th day to bring my child home, I should have gotten their disposition by then. The documented abuser (Ashille’s mother) is at the school and was defended by police, the principal, and the receptionist who were screaming at me in front of everyone in the front hallway to the offices saying that I was a criminal and had no right to be there. The officer tells me he needs paperwork for me to take my child out of the school yet the documented abuser who lives two states away with no paperwork or documentation in hand has more rights than me? I leave, consult my lawyer, get my paperwork and go back to the school to find that everyone has gone. I'm standing left looking stupid in an empty hallway. She essentially kidnapped her and ever since that day I have not heard anything or seen my daughter.
After my daughter was kidnapped from me, I received a notice for a 4 year restraining order in a different state, the state of Wisconsin. I was given 5 days to make a 3 day trip to contest it which I sent a defense via fax. Two weeks later I get the nastiest charges imaginable against me. Allegations were made against me from another state. "The Silver Bullet" was shot and I was facing 25 years to life in prison. It took a year to clear my name in which all charges were dismissed. Prayer and the Truth prevailed. The mother did what she did 3 years ago. She ran from another investigation.
The only person that investigated anything per the dozens possibly hundreds of people who were interviewed was my defense council's Investigators. It was found that a dozen others testified on my behalf that didn't even know who I was, and have never met me that collaborated my story, my documentation, everything I've been saying. The only thing that's changed is that my daughter is missing in a court of law, and I've been spoken ill of. I even had to pick the noose hanging from the branch of my tree down and pick up the rubble of which was once my mailbox. I have received multiple death threats, threats of dismemberment, and public mutilation. I want those that failed their positions held responsible. I want my child brought back to me. As it stands now my child is missing and the police are unable to locate her.
There is an investigation currently investigating the disappearance of my daughter on a national level. God willing I will one day reunite with my daughter and be able to tell her again how much I love her.
