Support for the Chifans
Donation protected
On May 6, our strong, generous and adventurous friend Claudiu Chifan passed away.
Claudiu was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was so deeply devoted to his wife Ana-Maria and their two amazing children, Alex (13) and Bianca (6), and worked hard to provide everything possible for them.
Claudiu was a kind man who touched so many lives. He served as the Director of Facilities for the Francophone School District in British Columbia, and was well-known for his incredible problem-solving skills and his willingness to help anyone in need.
Claudiu was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, but he never let it slow him down. He remained strong and optimistic throughout his journey, never complaining or giving up. He fought until his last breath, inspiring everyone who knew him.
Despite his illness, Claudiu remained an adventurer. He traveled to Morocco on his motorcycle last October and visited Cuba in January. He was determined to live life to the fullest.
Those who knew him as a friend were fortunate to experience his unwavering generosity and hospitality.
Now, as Ana-Maria, Alex and Bianca must navigate life without their beloved husband and father, let’s provide them with all the support we can.
We want to honour Claudiu by supporting his amazing family and alleviating any financial worries. We’d like to make sure all funeral and related expenses are covered and that, going forward, Ana-Maria and the kids have all the support they need.
Please consider giving and sharing this link with your friends and family. No donation is too small - every little bit counts.
Ana-Maria is so deeply grateful for all the support they’ve received already, including through the ongoing meal train (https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/7ezqm1).
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Warmly,
Annie
