About five years ago, I adopted Chief from a shelter. Since then, he’s been my loyal adventure buddy, joining me on hikes, road trips, and everyday life. He’s been by my side through everything, and now he needs help.

Recently, Chief was diagnosed with:

The vet recommends a TPLO surgery on his right knee (to stabilize it) combined with a dental procedure to remove the broken tooth. Without it, Chief’s pain and mobility issues will only get worse. With it, he has a real chance to manage his arthritis and hip dysplasia long-term through medication and supplements, and to get back to enjoying life.

Surgery Date: Tuesday, September 30

Cost: Around $6,100
