Hello, as many of you know, I've been an animal advocate for over 20 years, tirelessly networking and volunteering to save as many animals as possible.

My own baby now needs help. Chief is a parti-color cocker spaniel - he is the sweetest little boy, and the thought of losing him is destroying me. He has been in the hospital for a week now, and the bill is already $23k. He is expected to need more hospitalization after surgery today, which will be another $5-8k. This amount would overwhelm most, and I unfortunately am no different.

He needs this surgery today because there is a blockage that is preventing nutrients and food from making it to his intestines. He has been vomiting every time he eats for the past month, and his stomach has been terribly distended with residual fluid, causing him a lot of pain.
