Our boy Chico has fallen on hard times and we need to generously lend a hand. He’s been in and out of the hospital since before Christmas and now is in again. This time with kidney problems, thrombosis and an assortment of medical issues. He can barely walk so playing bass gigs over the past months has been impossible. He’s In desperate need to even keep a roof over his head. If you know him he was orphaned at birth and grew up living with many of us as well as catholic youth homes. As a kid I adopted him as my baby brother and shared nothing but love with him. His dream was realized by playing bass and touring with many of the biggest names in rock and soul. He is one of the greatest musicians in the world. It shouldn’t be this way. He should’ve earned plenty playing places like Madison square garden etc on giant sold out tours. But working musicians get a weekly salary just like us. It’s the stars in the suites while the guys in the band are sharing rooms and eating in diners. Please let’s do what we can to at least take some of the financial pressure off of Chico and let’s all pray for his quick healing. If you have cash please make a sizeable contribution. I started with $5000 as our goal but of course he needs much more than that.
