Chicks On Sticks VT: PB & J Fund
Donation protected
The obvious goal of any backcountry expedition is finding the best line, and obviously, the best powder. At Chicks On Sticks VT we aim to bring light to the smaller-scale accomplishments that sometimes go unnoticed.
As women, particularly athletes, we often have high expectations for ourselves, we sometimes experience self-doubt, and we battle with our personal criticisms. The backcountry shows us our inherent strength, and what we can overcome on a physical and emotional level. Wilderness cultivates confidence, and through this confidence we find our spirit. To be conscious of protecting the wild in which we play, ditching the lifts is our first step as an influential mentorship collective.
We aim to guide the next generations of young women interested in exploring backcountry skiing, and inviting them to enjoy all of its elements beyond the physical benefits.
