UPDATE #2:
Chicken is back on his feet and back to his usual antics. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated! Anything that comes in above his current bills will be put aside for his flea/tick prevention and any future care he needs.
UPDATE:
Unfortunately we are headed back to the vet with Chicken again today for visit #4, as he now has a fever and still hasn’t eaten. He will be getting fluids, bloodwork, and further nedication. This now brings our estimated total expenses to $2200. Thank you so much for the support thus far, it’s appreciated more than you know.
Hi everyone!
As you all know, Chicken hasn’t had the greatest luck with his health lately. I know you guys love him as much as I do, and he’s a very valued part of our barn family. We will of course always take care of him (as long as he lets us), but we’re now at 3 vet visits in about 4 months, running a total of about $1600. I hate to ask, but if anyone is able to pitch in a little bit to help with this expense, I would really appreciate it.
