Help the Chichester community build a mosque

May peace be upon you.

 

We have been raising funds to build a Mosque for the Muslim community in Chichester, West Sussex.

Albeit the Muslim community is small, we have grown exponentially over decades, spanning over a range of ages.

 

Presently, we pray in a community hall which the council has provided for us to conduct our weekly Friday prayers.

 

Our community is made up of families, students, and older generations. Our end goal is to provide the next generation with a place they can call their very own Mosque. A place not only to carry out prayers, but a place where they can further their Deen and learn our faith.

 

A Mosque for everyone, a sanctuary for community cohesion.

 

Please donate what you are able to, no amount is too little. Every penny is filled with blessings and Insha'Allah may you be rewarded in this life and the hereafter for any donation you make.

 

This is a long-term plan, ideally we would love to raise enough to build a Mosque within 3-5 years.

1) How you are related to the project you are raising funds for:
I am the son of one of the community leaders who are driving the fundraising. My father is Mohammed Anwar Rabbani.
We are running a number of various activities to prove the need for a mosque in Chichester.

2) Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from your GoFundMe to fund the project:
Our goal total is £10,000, however we will review our fundraiser at the end of this year with our finance manager for the next steps.

3) How the funds will be spent:
This fundraiser will go towards in a number of areas for example: 1) Wudu area for washing and cleaning 2) Overall capital raised to purchase a property 3) Décor and rooms for education and teachings.
