Today our family mourns the loss of two beautiful souls.  Married for over 35 years, Cruz & AnnaMarie Contreras blessed this world with 3 beautiful daughters who’ve had children of their own. Grandparents of two, they spent their free time enjoying the brotherhood and serenity of the open road on their motorcycle.

 In his career, Cruz spent the last decade of his life helping, nurturing, and promoting the lives of troubled teens across Arizona. In many cases, the only father figure they had, Cruz mentored young men and women to help improve their lives and become productive citizens. In her career, AnnaMarie spent many years working at a local elementary school as a teacher’s assistant to special needs students. Helping children while providing the gift of education. Together, they spent many years providing a loving home for many of Arizona’s foster children, over 20 in all. 

They were both loved and needed as the glue that kept my family together. Two remarkable people who are forever loved by so many.

My name is Jacob Contreras and I'm the blood nephew to Cruz and AnnaMarie.  As a family, we're from Flagstaff Arizona but have spent the last few decades in the Phoenix area. Money raised will go to Maryann Contreras, the daughter of Cruz and Annamarie.
