We are a group of employees, their friends, family, volunteers, and donors who believe in silent heroes of COVID-19: doctors, nurses, firefighters, first responders, and frontline health workers. Without them, none of us would have a health service.
Started by a local nurse of 17 years veteran in Highland Park Hospital, Marina Zarovsky. She recognizes the hard work and sacrifices these people are making daily: exposing themselves to a potentially deadly infection, exposing themselves and risking to bring it home to their loved ones. Overburdened, worrying about having the proper personal protection, they show up, day after day to save our lives and the lives of our ❤️ ones. They are at the front line without the ability to leave for food, and many of the hospital cafeterias are closed down.
Feed 1 First Responder: $10
Feed 5 First Responders: $50
Feed 10 First Responders: $100
Feed a Village: Give as much as you can, and we’ll use 100% of the proceeds to feed frontline workers.
A local restaurant, Pavilion Restaurant & Lounge, in Northbrook joined her forces and formed into a community of #ChicagoHeroBelievers. Pavilion and the team are committed to matching every dollar you donate to deliver fresh and healthy food for our heroes.
With all of your help, we were able to support and deliver thousands of individually packaged meals for free to all of North Shore and Chicagoland Hospitals.
