Welcome to Chicago Brew - a north side Chicago coffee shop with a diverse cast of characters, both customers and staff alike. If you spend just an hour in any Starbucks you'll agree the potential story lines are virtually endless. In fact, the inspiration for Chicago Brew comes from nearly 7 years of combined experiences Executive Producer Glenn Selby and Co-creator Andrew Voigt have had actually working at Starbucks. Chicago brew is like many time-tested, work-place sitcoms - Taxi, Cheers, The Mary-Tyler Moore Show, WKRP in Cincinnati - and many more. Chicago Brew is next in line for this legacy.
What We Need
Now that the shoot is complete, the hard work begins; post production "“ the editing magic needed to make the script come to life. This is the most time consuming work and requires attention to detail. This is vital as we plan to take it to this year's New York TV Festival and take advantage of every networking opportunity. If we want to be taken seriously, we need to produce a quality production, and we can WITH YOUR HELP. We are raising $15,000 to pay for all the post production work as well as cover the expenses to attend the festival. It's a big part of making the most of this opportunity.
