Chicago Artist Circle celebrates Artists within the Chicago Theatre Community as they gather together, share stories and speak their minds. 

We are in the midst of our first season, having launched episode one in January:

The response was better than we ever could have hoped. It was widely agreed that this is what the Chicago Theatre Community deserves and has always needed: the opportunity to see and hear from ALL the people who make this vibrant Theatre city thrive. To celebrate them. To bring together Artists who may not typically convene and watch them share stories, thoughts and opinions. 

The plan for the remainder of the year is 5 more episodes! (One of which is already set to debut at the end of the month!!) 2 of them are on a slightly grander scale and could use your help...

Episode 3 will be shooting on March 31st, with a panel of 7 Artists who have gained admiration for their work "behind the table". Episode 5 will shoot in August, with a panel of 7 Queer, Transgender and Non-binary Theatre Artists who continue to pave the way so that this is most assuredly a community for EVERYONE. 

These larger groups simply take more time! It is our goal to be able to compensate our Main Editor, Ryan Stajmiger, and our Director of Photography, Tyler Core, who put in more hours than anyone while in the editing room post-shoot. 

We have two sound options at the moment, both of which will improve the quality greatly...

"Budget" Option A- $350 (total- we will own this equipment)

"Pro" Option B- $1400 (rental of 8 personal mics for 2 shoots)

Our ultimate goal is anywhere between $1,800-$3,000 to be able to cover both of our remaining group episodes this year.

We have a larger social media campaign in the works for Season 2 funding, but thought we could use a bit of assistance on a much smaller scale to help get Season 1 off the ground! Which is why we ask that you please refrain from sharing on any social media platform for the remainder of our first season. We are working towards that arena and will let you know when the time is right!

There is no amount too small! Every bit helps bring quality and meaningful conversation to the vital Theatre Community of Chicago.
