My name is Andrew Ball.

A few weeks ago my mother called me and informed me that she has colon cancer. 

My mom is the type of person that will help different friends move, every weekend, for weeks on end.

My mom lives simply, she shops in thrift stores and saves where she can. 

My mom has gone out of her way for people her entire life and has aimed to please everyone she has encountered, she has catered, cooked, and driven "All over town", for myself, her late son Sam Ball, and my sister Heather, and although the family is doing everything we can for her, financially, it just doesn't seem to be enough. 

My mother will be starting rounds of chemotherapy as well as multiple surgeries over the next few months, and we are trying to raise 4,000 dollars to help cushion the blow of medical expenses and loss wages.
