Hey all - I've never done this before, but due to seemingly astronomical vet bills for our cat Chibi, I've decided to reach out and ask for help. Chibi is our little black and white cow-cat, and has been in the family since he was adopted as a kitten a little under 13 years ago. This year, Chibi has had a couple of higher priority vet issues, including treatment for Dental Disease this last June, and as of today, hospitalization with an inflammatory liver problem. In order to diagnose the issue and treat him, he needs an ultrasound, blood work, potential biopsies of the affected areas in his liver, pancreas, and gall bladder, and possibly a surgically attached feeding tube to help get over the "hump" and get back to normal. Unfortunately, this has resulted in vet bills on the "low end" of $4000, and a higher end of $6200 (not including $1500 for the potential feeding tube surgery.) We've taken this on as credit card debt for now, but are hoping that friends and family (and maybe even some internet strangers) can throw in a few bucks to help ease the financial burden. Anything you can spare would be appreciated more than I can possibly convey in words, but regardless, thanks for taking the time to read this.
