Sponsor us to raise funds for Christ’s Hope International
Friday 10th to Sunday 12th October 2025
Our sponsored walk follows a long-distance footpath along the Hope Valley in Derbyshire - a pilgrimage of 30 miles from Edale to Eyam.
In Africa, there are over 52 million orphans. Many more disadvantaged children live in extreme poverty, often on the edge of society. These children frequently live in ‘shanty towns’ where family life may be broken due to persistent poverty, long-term unemployment and chronic illness.
Christ's Hope International (CHI) helps impoverished children aged 3-19 to live successfully within a family, looking after their health, nutrition, and access to education. The work takes place within Care Points, centres where children receive a meal, mentoring, and educational support from trained local workers for about 12 hours per week.
We go beyond meeting daily needs by helping families and carers provide a stable home so that vulnerable children can flourish in their local community. Funds are raised by child sponsorship, individual support for Care Points, sponsored events, and grants from charitable trusts and businesses.
Please help us to gather funding to sustain and grow our work. Be part of an international team making a difference to the lives of children in Africa!
Thank you!
