Chi Thi Tran unexpectedly passed away on September 8th at the early age of 59. Although you may not have had the pleasure of meeting her, you most likely have met her larger than life, sweet and sassy son Dennis.
Dennis and his mother were very close. Although she lived in Palacios,TX, they talked on the phone almost every day-seeing each other when possible.
Anyone who has met Dennis knows that he is always the first to help and the last to ask for a helping hand. Neither Dennis nor his family anticipated Chi to pass away this young, so they had not planned for her funeral.
I have created this GoFundMe in hopes we all come together to alleviate the costly funeral expenses that have fallen on Dennis and his family. Out of respect for Chi’s traditions, we cannot donate directly to the funeral expenses. However, we can help Dennis and his family by catering the memorial service. Your donation to this campaign will pay for the traditional vegetarian family meal following the service. Any additional funds will go towards temple and related costs.
