Steve’s road to recovery

Steve was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2021 and went through radiation & chemo, thinking he was on the road to recovery to be told 7/2022 he now had lung cancer and again had to receive high doses of chemotherapy.

His issue now is he has collapsed vertebrae in his neck caused by the radiation from the throat cancer, they have tried all kinds of treatments but nothing has helped, he is in severe pain.

Steve has been employed at Omaha Correctional Center since 2013 but has been unable to work consistently going months without being able to work since his treatments started in 2021 and is now not able to work at all.

Steve, Becky & Kimmie need our help, he has depleted any savings and unfortunately all of his time off options at work so now he is forced to pay his portion ($1800) a month for insurance on top of living expenses.

Becky works part time when she can, Kimmie is a college student but THEY ARE his caregivers and have to be there to take care of him.
