Chapel Hill High School Athletic Booster Club needs your help.
COVID restrictions on spectator attendance means that over the 2020/2021 School year, the CHHS Athletic Department will lose at least $60,000 of income from Season Pass, Ticket and Concession sales.
While students were unable to meet for in-person classes, CHHS Athletics put nearly 250 student athletes safely out on the field, court and in the pool, with athletes playing seven sports during the fall season. There are another 250 student athletes waiting for their seasons to begin in the coming weeks.
The expenses associated with Tiger Athletics continue even as revenue has stopped. Expenses such as: uniforms; facilities; payments for officials; increased transportation costs so we can accommodate social distancing on busing to away games.
We’ve started this GoFundMe campaign to replace around half of CHHS Athletics Booster Club's lost revenue and support the CHHS Athletics Program.
This $30,000 goal might sound like a lot, but please remember this supports all the CHHS teams playing this academic year, Men’s and Women’s teams, at the Varsity and Junior Varsity Level:
Field Hockey
Cross Country
Volleyball
Swimming and Diving
Men's Basketball
Women's Basketball
Cheerleading
Football
Wrestling
Soccer
Lacrosse
Golf
Tennis
Baseball
Softball
Track
Please consider supporting this program that has kept our kids playing.
