Cheyenne's Recovery: Your Help Is Vital

Where to begin...... My name is Joyce Mathews. My son John bought a German Sheperd puppy a month ago he was 8 weeks. His name is name is Cheyenne. John was making his 12 week checkup when Cheyenne got very sick and started vomitting uncontrollably friday night and by Saturday morning he had stopped eating and drinking, still vomitting and having diarrhea that stunk to high heaven. Cheyenne was getting weaker and weaker as the hours pasted. We rushed him to the Emergency Veterinarian Clinic who made us wait 7 hours to finally do a Pravo test which came back postive!! The veterinarian working told he was going to die if we didn't give them $8500, they told us he only weight 11.4 pounds. Then while waiting they had a veterinarian change and the second veterinarian helped as best she could, putting fluids under his skin, giving nausea meds, and antibiotics, she sent us home with some. She stated, Cheyenne would need the life saving Antibodies to live as Pravo Virus is a death sentence to puppies. Cheyenne by Sunday was lifeless and very ill I got a $500 increase on my credit card and called the Emergency Veterinarian Clinic too tell them but told them that's all I had. They said, great call when you arrive. We did and the cruel veterinarian we had before said, it was $500 a vial and she said, he need 3 vials $1500, she wouldn't give me not even one and argued with me, stated we're at an impass. We went home defeated and upset. Come Monday I called our veterinarian who took Cheyenne ASAP! Cheyenne got those life saving Antibodies he desperately needed along with IV plasma, fluids, B12, 2 nausea meds, 2 different antibiotics, Cheyenne went in Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays 8am to 6pm and we did over night treatments. Cheyenne is not out of the woods and the vet bills have added up too almost $5000 and Cheyenne will need more treatments until our bill is paid we are doing his home treatments. We are all hurting and praying he responds to his treatments. He's a fighter he's trying. God bless you all
