Hey everyone,

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce my sweet friend Cheyenne. If you are already acquainted with her, then you know she is kind, patient, selfless, intentional, GOD fearing, humble, and loving to all she meets. She is 37 years old and married to Buck Dorsey. They have one daughter named Harmony, who is a perfect mixture of the two. Cheyenne works as a Radiologic Technologist at a local hospital and faithfully attends Cedar Crossing Baptist Church.

 

She began this journey by discovering a lump in her right breast. The next day she contacted her doctor and was soon scheduled for a mammogram and ultrasound. Unfortunately, the day the imaging was completed, the radiologist informed her that it didn't look good and a biopsy would be needed for definitive results.

 

January 4th, 2022, was the day she discovered it was indeed breast cancer. A treatment plan was soon laid out. January 21st was supposed to be the day she tackled this horrible disease by having a port placed, but God had other plans. She could not start chemotherapy and targeted immune therapy due to a COVID diagnosis. Finally, on February 2nd, the port was placed, and on February 11th, she started the cancer KILLING!

 

Now Cheyenne has completed treatments and will have her mastectomy surgery on 06/28/2022. Due to the financial aspects of this journey, I pray you feel led to donate and help my precious friend, who has continued to work all she can during this challenging time.
