When I got the news that my friend Cheyanne Cantwell had been diagnosed with colorectal cancer I was stunned and saddened by the struggle I knew she was about to face as she was told she needs surgery and that she needs it right away. All of you who know Cheyanne know that she is a fighter and she is heading into battle for the fight of her life.
Many of you may know her as the lady behind the camera at Kreations Photography by Cheyanne. She earns her living by creating beautiful images for her clients. Most everyone knows that November and December are the busiest time of year for photographers. This is the time that helps carry the next several months and Cheyanne has needed to cancel several of her planned sessions and right now it is completely uncertain when she may be able to return to work. COVID has been extremely difficult for many people and a lot of very small business owners didn't qualify for any assistance with an SBA loan. This means that savings had to be used to cover the lost income during the shutdown and the following impact on their business.
Cheyanne has always been an extremely hard worker taking care of her family on her own while running a successful photography business in Kingsport, TN. She has always been a champion of other small businesses, an advocate for victims of domestic violence, and a devoted mom. She is a proudly independent lady and she would never ask for help on her own but, she needs our financial help while she is facing this battle. When I had asked her how much she needs she gave me an extremely modest amount to cover just her basic living expenses during her expected recovery time.
Please know that Cheyanne is extremely grateful for everyone who has reached out in support of her and for all of the prayers sent up on her behalf. All donations are appreciated. Please consider sharing her fundraiser even if you aren't in a position to help financially. Sharing her story and fundraiser will help get her through this extremely challenging time.
