Hey, I'm Chewie,

Since my dad adopted me I would hike and run all around the neighborhood. I recently threw my back out (8 years old. rough I know) and had to have surgery on my back, on my 13th vertebrae. Without surgery I would have been paralyzled but my Dad made sure I'd walk again with surgery. I want to get back on hikes and go out for a morning run again. Any amount you're willing to donate will help me on my recocery. The doc said it'd take a month but I'm ready to run right out of surgery.

**UPDATE** 8/17/2023: Chewie is now home, we still need help paying the cost of the surgery but I have updated the goal to reflect the true amount due. Please give whatever you can spare.
