CHEW DESPERATELY NEEDS A NEW VAN
Tax deductible
Greetings Friends! United Way of Onslow County’s CHEW Program is in need of a new van for food donation pickups and deliveries. Our current van was graciously donated to us over 7 years ago; however it has now ran the course of its life at 300,000 miles. Due to many mechanical issues including but not limited to bad breaks, no heat/air, broken doors, corrosion, and constant issues with battery; we are now in need of a replacement.
The CHEW Program provides over 800 children with child friendly meals to sustain them over the weekends. We cannot make this happen without a reliable work van to transport the meals. We are reaching out for your support to help us reach our goal of purchasing a new or used van. We thank you in advance for your support and consideration.
