Chevron The Great Escape, The Pace Makers

The Pace Makers are a multi-departmental team of Chevron employees taking part in the 84 day Chevron UK 'Great Escape' Challenge. This involves a virtual mission where we build up miles towards our mission by taking on many different forms of challenging exercises to log miles towards the route. Along the way we 'visit' milestones where Chevron has a presence.

Chevron will also provide donations to the winning teams chosen charities.

Event runs from 26th April - 19th July 2021.

Abbie's Army

We are raising money to benefit Abbie's Army.

'Abbie's Army' is a children's DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) brain tumour research charity, founded in loving memory of Abbie. DIPG affects roughly 40 children a year in the UK and with insufficient research funding from larger National charities and no direct Government funding, it is parent led charities and advocacy groups worldwide who are contributing to furthering the research effort.

Donations to Abbie’s Army will be used to raise awareness and fund more research and developments of new clinical treatments to benefit the children affected. The aim being to help overturn this 'terminal' prognosis AND to provide vital resource, practical advice and support for other parents who receive this awful diagnosis for their child.
