On March 1st 2024, beloved Chet experienced a serious , life threatening stroke. He is currently unable to speak, and completely paralyzed on the right side of his body. He is currently in the ICU being stabilized until further notice. It is unknown when he will make a full recovery , however we expect a long journey ahead. This includes months of various medical procedures, physical therapy and speech therapy.
Chet is a loving , hardworking father and grandfather. Chet , his wife Samaly , and his daughter Jessica ran a successful family business selling smoothies and Cambodian street food. His wife and daughter now must run their family business without him.
Samaly and Jessica are now forced to cut business hours to tend to Chet’s medical needs. This has caused a massive emotional and financial toll on his family. Chet was a pillar and the foundation to their business and family. Without him , the family’s livelihood will be greatly affected.
We are asking for assistance from family, friends and our local community to help cover expected medical expenses, as well as to assist with basic living. Due to the severity of his stroke , it is unknown when he will come home. We are greatly appreciative of any type of assistance. And we also ask for love and prayers towards a successful recovery.
