Chet Leonard, of Northborough passed away on May 10. Chet was a graduate of Algonquin Regional High School, where he excelled at baseball. He is a member of the ARHS Athletic Hall of Fame and still holds the batting record at Algonquin. Chet leaves his two sons, Michael and Chris, who still live locally.

To compound the profound grief of losing Chet, the family is struggling to cover the large costs of funeral services. We would love to see Chet receive the memorial he deserves, and any amount will help immensely.

Calling hours will be held between 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. Chet’s funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18 in St. Bernadette Parish, 266 Main St. Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery.

This GoFundMe was created by Sean Durkin, of Northborough MA. As a long time family friend of Chet and the Leonards I wanted to help the family with finances in their time of need. The money raised will be paid to Hay’s Funeral Home in Northborough MA to cover expenses of the wake and funeral services.
