Chester’s wishes

On the 6th of January 2025 our whole world came crashing down. Chester had been unwell for a few months I kept taking him to the doctors but was constantly turned away telling me its ‘viral’ until I said enoughs is enough I want bloods doing as i just knew something wasn’t right. We were sent down A&E and within hours I was sat in a side room being told ‘im really sorry we found several masses in his Kidneys, pancreas and peritoneum’. After a few days of numerous test’s and scans we had Chester diagnosis ‘Lymphoma stage 3 high risk’ and chemo was to start straight the way, 5 rounds of intense chemotherapy.
Chester suffer horrendous side affects and numerous infections which lead to us being in hospital for 64 days straight. Then we came home for a few nights until it was time to go back in again for more treatment weeks at a time.
Many keep asking what they can do or buy to help and honestly as cheesy as it sounds we have each other and that is all that matters.
During our time in the hospital i would tell Chester stories or give him idea’s of things we can do for when he is stronger to give us hope and strength to keep fighting.
Chester is in touching distance of the finishing line and our wish as a family is to make ‘happy memories’ together. Wether thats a trip to the sea side, or top of Chester list is to visit Chester Zoo or Lego land.
Chester is our real life superhero, and his big sister Lola has been incredibly understanding and just as strong.
