Chester's Dilemma
Donation protected
As many of you know, our cat Chester was involved in two very traumatic incidents recently. As a result, he is spending the weekend in the Vet emergency clinic. His front right leg is broken - the humerus bone. This is not an easy bone to mend. We're told you can't just slap a cast on it. It will have to be surgically repaired, or the leg amputated. Given that he's 16 going on 17, we have to take into account his ability to make it through the operation (for example, less time under anesthesia), and his ability to heal. That's why we've decided to have the leg amputated. We feel this gives him the best chance to recover, and to suffer no complications down the road.
I'm not going to ask for funding to cover the entire cost. I don't think that would be fair. But however you could help out to get our Little Orange Friend back on his feet would be greatly appreciated.
