Dear Friends,
Chester and Barney have been best friends since they were kittens. I rescued both of them from the streets. Their antics and affection have been a gift for the past 13 years.
They were healthy throughout their lives until recently. A year ago, Chester became ill and was diagnosed with Small Cell Lymphoma. He is in remission due to the excellent ongoing care that he is receiving both at home and at the vet. And then, just a month ago, Barney was also diagnosed with Small Cell Lymphoma. And he, too, is in remission with similar treatment.
Chester and Barney, although born in different litters, are brothers-in-arms. They have shared their lives together and now they share the same type of cancer. But even more so, these little guys share a quality of life as they journey through cancer together. They are survivors. At 13 years old, their chances of a longer life are truly possible. But their care takes a bite out of our finances. Please, help them enjoy a good quality of life with ongoing care.
Thank you so much,
Heidi, Chester and Barney
